Blu Seafood and Bar and Hope Valley Bottle Shop are teaming up for a Beef Eater’s Wine Dinner on Wednesday, August 18th at 7pm. The cost is $45 per person plus tax and gratuity and you can call Blu for reservations at (919) 286-9777.

I would normally be all over this dinner, but we are heading to Dos Perros for the Unibroue beer dinner instead!

From the HVBS Newsletter

While Blu is known for their wonderful seafood, they also always have some non-aquatic gems on their menu that don’t get the attention they deserve. For their August dinner, Chef Tim Lyons and staff are going to flex their skills with land locked foods, with a dinner focusing on great beef dishes. Come see that Chef Lyons is not only talented with the bounty of the sea, but is versatile with his red meats as well!

The Menu

Beef Tartare with Parmesean Crisps
Albaliza Tempranillo/Garnacha

Wedge Salad with Brisket “Burnt Ends” and Blu cheese dressing
Redtree Pinot Noir

Top Sirloin with Red Wine Mushrooms, Tobacco Onion Rings, and Potato Au Gratin
