Kevin Callaghan, owner of Acme Food & Beverage in Carrboro is currently selling all draft beers and wines by the glass for the price of a gallon of gas (in Carrboro).
As of yesterday (Monday) the price was $3.62. Callaghan plans to keep this up at least through the end of the year.

Another birthday present of mine were these colorful and witty wine tags describing various likely characteristics of one who has had too much to drink. I think people may end up switching as the night goes on.
The euphemisms include: woozy, puzzled, befuddled, light-headed, boisterous, tipsy, glassy, obstreperous, fractious, bemused, unglued.
