The Capital City Club in downtown Raleigh is hosting winemaker Mitch Bakich from Donati Family Vineyards for a wine dinner with food pairings from Executive Chef Ben Holt on Friday, September 24th at 7pm. Donati Family Vineyards was founded in 1998 in the Paicienes AVA of California–the 9th oldest in the state. Donati is a small family winery that sells their wine only to wine boutiques and high end restaurants. Donati has received rave reviews for their merlot, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay and pinot blanc. Winemaker Mitch Bakich will be on hand to discusses Donati’s wines.
