Fall Dinner Series @ Washington Duke Inn

Fairview Restaurant at The Washington Duke Inn has announced their Fall Dinner Series which starts next week. Each of these dinners begins with a 7pm hors d’œuvres reception followed by a five course dinner in the Vista. The price per dinner is $95 plus tax and gratuity and you can get a 10% discount for attending all three ($257 plus tax and gratuity). Tuesday, October 27th- Spanish Wine Dinner
An evening of Old World charm with a Spanish style feast paired with fine wines from Spain. Aubrey Zinaich of Empire Distributing will be there to discuss the wines and their ethos. Featured this evening will be the outstanding wines: Papa Luna and Pico Madama, which were rated 95 and 93 respectively by Robert Parker.

Tuesday, November 17th- Montes Alpha Premium Wines, Chile
Join Fairview Sommelier Stacey Sondek and distinguished guest Christophe Courteaud from Fine Wine Importers for an excursion through Chile with award winning wines from Montes Alpha Winery paired with epicurean food and exceptional service. The highlight of the evening will come tasting the small production Purple Angel Carmenère blend. Selected as one of the “Twenty Exceptional South American Wines” by the prestigious Forbes magazine, and rated 93 by Wine Spectator.

Tuesday, December 08th- Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars with George Foote, Napa, California
Best known for placing first in the historic Judgment of Paris wine tasting in 1976 besting Château Mouton-Rothschild and Château Haut-Brion, the iconic Stag’s Leap Cellars is our focus tonight. Come taste globally renowned wines complemented by a provocative menu.
