French Wine Dinner @ Elaine’s on Franklin (8/27)

Elaine’s on Franklin is hosting winemaker Jean-Luc Colombo of the Jean-Luc Colombo Winery of the Rhone Valley in France on Thursday, August 27 at 6pm for a four-course dinner with appetizers and four wine pairings. The cost is $75 per person. Call (919) 960-2770 to make a reservation.
The courses include Maine lobster with Brinkley Farm cream peas (we get these from our CSA with them and they are goooood), arugula, fried green tomatoes, corn relish and a green tomato beurre blanc paired with a 2007 Jean-Luc Colombo La Redonne Cotes du Rhone blanc.
