Txakoli Fest @ Six Plates

Six Plates is hosting Txakoli Fest on Saturday, July 25th to celebrate the spritzy Basque wine. When served, it is normally poured into tall glasses from height, so hopefully Matt is practicing his technique. Oh, and I believe it’s pronounced “SHA-ko-lee” :)
The $5 cover charge includes a Basque cider glass for you to use and keep.
Festivities include:
- Doors open at 1pm
- Live music from 2pm-2am
- 8 Types of Txakoli wine available by the glass (including one from keg!)
- Basque cider poured in classic shot format (75 cents/shot)
- 6 Oyster on-the-half-shell specials

For $10 you get a cider glass to use at the event and to take home, and the opportunity to order any (or all) of the eight featured Txakolis by the glass and menu.
