Eric and I have been big fans of Rosé ever since our trip to Spain last year. There is a good variety to these wines, but our favorites trend to the dry and fruity side. Wine Authorities in Durham has the best selection of pink wine in our area and in their newsletter this week, they’ve announced the current line up…
- Vieux Clocher, Cotes du Rhone Rosé ‘08 $9 (France)
- Altosur, Malbec Rosé ‘08 $10 (Argentina)
- Bellavue La Foret, Fronton Rosé ‘08 $12 (France)
- Tegernseerhof, Zweigelt Rosé ‘08 $13 (Austria)
- Gurrutxaga, Txakoli Rosado ‘08 $18 (Spain)
Plus, for every bottle of Rosé sold, Wine Authorities donates money to the Triangle Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research, over $1,600 to date. So drink pink!
