Wine Series with Sheri Sauter-Morano MW @ 3Cups

3CUPS in Chapel Hill is kicking off a new wine series with Master of Wine, Sheri Sauter-Morano this Thursday, April 2 at 7pm. Each class is $20 in advance, or $25 at the door. For reservations or more information about 3CUPS’ Continuing Wine Education Program, contact 919-968-8993.
The Master of Wine designation is impressive, only 24 Americans have ever been awarded this top credential in the wine trade. Sheri was the youngest (and the second female) American to become a Master of Wine.
Class 1: France’s Loire Valley
Thursday, April 2, 2009, 7pm
MW Sauter-Morano will untangle the Loire, a valley whose vine growers are making potentially the most thought-provoking and forward-looking wine in France. Guests will taste 6 wines while Sauter-Morano shares in-depth information about the wines themselves, region, growers and winemakers; each of the wines will be available for purchase. Featured wines will include current releases from dynamic small estates across the region.
Class 2: Germany & Austria

Class 3: Spanish & Italian Whites
Thursday, May 7th, 7pm
Class 4: Rose
Thursday, May 14th, 7pm
