Labouré-Roi Burgandy Wine Dinner @ Spice Street

Spice Street in Chapel Hill is hosting a four-course wine dinner with Emilie Terrier, brand ambassador for Labouré-Roi on Thursday, March 5 at 7pm for $60 per person (not including tax and tip).

No word yet on the wines being served, but I’ve included the menu below. Seating for this event is limited and on a reservation-only basis by calling (919) 928-8200 or emailing Siamak Yazdanfar.

The Menu:

Passed Hor D’oeuvres
Hickory Grove Gougere (cheese puffs); Rabbit-Wild Mushroom Roulade; Duck Rillette Crostini with mustard sauce

First Course
Grape-leaf wrapped NC striped bass with roasted fennel and verjus beurre blanc

Second Course
Frisee salad with grilled quail, radish, toasted hazelnuts and roasted shallot vinaigrette

Third Course
Garlic scented lamb chops with cranberry bean-roasted garlic gratin and asparagus sauce bordelaise

Fourth Course
Three local cheeses with honeycomb
