Recession Wine Dinner @ Jujube

Jujube in Chapel Hill and Hope Valley Bottle Shop in Durham are teaming up again for a budget-conscious wine dinner on Thursday, October 30th at 7pm. The price is $40 which includes a five course dinner paired with wine. The first dinner on Tuesday has already sold out, so call (919) 960-0555 to make a reservation for this one.

All of the wines for this dinner will be for sale at Hope Valley Bottle Shop leading up to the dinner, and then offered at a 20% discount for the attendees of the dinner.

Crostinis of pumpkin-shallot compote, duck liver pate, and herbed goat cheese with mixed greens and mustard vinaigrette

    Hi Leandra! Just wanted to let you (or anyone else) know that I will be at the Jujube dinner on Tuesday as part of the Durham Wine Meetup group (shameless plug). Let me know if you will be there! From Jujube’s email it looks as if they will be doing this on a regular basis!

    We are missing the Tuesday dinner because we will be sipping Pinot Noirs in Oregon. I know, it’s a rough life. :)
