Costieres de Nimes wine tasting @ BrandyWine Cellars

BrandyWine Cellars in Durham is hosting a French wine tasting class from 6-8pm on Tuesday, September 23.

$10 includes wine, nibbles, handouts and lecture.

Frederick Corriher (mid-Atlantic regional manager for Robert Kacher Selections) will present wines from his favorite wine-producing region, the Costieres de Nimes region of France. The class will begin with a sipping wine and some snacks. The lecture/discussion will then begin with about 5 additional wines being poured as the classroom progresses.

The wines: Mas Carlot Marsanne, Roussanne 2006; Domaine de Cantarelles Viognier 2006; Château Grande Casssagne Grenache-Syrah 2006; Mas Carlot Mourvedre-Syrah Les Enfants Terribles 2006; Syrah De Fayel 2005; Mas Carlot Cabernet-Syrah 2004
